The Portal of Fantasy INTERVIEW

Q: Which scene did you have the most fun making?

A: The barn chase scene is my favorite. I felt really good about that one. There was more tension and suspense here than in any other part of the book. I had a lot of fun with that one.

Q: Which scene is your favorite? Which one do you think you did the best job on?

A: Most of the scenes are pretty great. I think the best scene was at the end when Cyberluna has her baby. It's just really sweet and endearing. This is the one that people will keep watching over and over again. My hope is that anybody who knows what it's like to be a parent will watch this and tear up at it.

Q: What do you think is the aspect that most differs this book from the first two?

A: I think what I did best with this book that I didn't do with the other ones is that I added a lot more of the other characters and not just Cybertop. I sort of escalated the situation between Max and Cattavira. In some parts of the book, I put a lot of tension between the villains.

Q: It seems like you have a lot going on around the villains in this book. Why so much tension?

A: I think it's unfair that people think that because they're evil they're not like us. The truth is, they're just like us. They have nightmares and laugh and cry and have boyfriends and girlfriends. They experience love and heartbreak just like everyone else.

Q: That's very insightful. Where do you find the biggest turning point in the story is?

A: The biggest turning point in the story is when Corsarius and Miss Zoom get into a relationship. They become boyfriend and girlfriend and it changes things for everyone.

Q: Who does it change things most for?

It changes lots of things, especially for the villains, but the character it changes things most for is Mr. Mouse. He has a secret crush on Miss Zoom, and as she gets further into her relationship with Corsarius, it becomes pretty clear that he's jealous.

Q: How do Corsarius and Miss Zoom fall in love?

A: They meet on the internet, in a virtual game, and then they finally meet in person. When they discover it's each other, they're really shocked. But they both stick around and see how it goes, and that's how they fall in love. There is no double agent, either.

RANDOM

Here is an excerpt from my new book, The Portal of Fantasy 3:

"It must be a good book, because Charles Dickens wrote it," said Joey.

The barn chase scene is my favorite. I felt really good about that one. There was a lot more drama and tension here than in any other part of the book. Shana Twain's I'm Gonna Getcha was playing in the background. I think I did a great job with it.

I really put a lot more of the other characters into this book, and not just Cybertop and Cattavira. I made a lot of it about Max and Cattavira and the stuff that was going on between them, because, of course, Cattavira uses Max to get to Cybertop. I also made a lot of tension between the villains in some parts.

Okay, I have to say I really do like animals. Unfortunately, there are some animals I really don't like.

Okay, this is actually from a book that I wrote:
        Chapter one

William, Carter, and Mike were the best of friends. They were inseperable. The only thing was, they didn't have that one special place where they constantly hung out. They just went to each other's houses.

But that was before the dumpster...

Please let me know if you would like to hear more, and I will post a little bit of the story every day.
